1st pattern Denison Smock
Paratroopers 'Denison Smock', 1st type, knitted cuffs, dark green and chocolate brown on tan backing camouflage, non reversible. 4 front pockets, with 'Newey' brass snap buttons fastened flaps. Two shoulder straps, buttons fastened. 'Lightning' zipper, excellent working order. Waist pulling straps with snap buttons. Crotch strap still present. Repairs on right sleeve and in the back. Label inside printed size 7, dated 1942 with maker's name. Issued to british pratroopers, canadians, SAS and Jedburghs during WW2 also in Indochina to french Airborne units as Ponchardier commando, SAS and 8th BPC.
