German Gas Mask
Complete german M38 gas mask. Mask is made of rubberized cloth, M38 pattern with manufacturer's marking "bwz", 43 dated lenses, elastic fastening head bands with size "3" marking, , FE41 canister. Short (25 cms) type metal case, feldgrau green, dated "1936" with pre-war closing clasp. Waffen-Amt eagle stamped on inner lid with three sets of spare lenses and discs. Matching carrying canvas straps. Found near Falaise. Standard issued to despatch riders. Nice patina for this untouched item.
