Heer Dress Sword
Heer dress sword (Feuerwehr-offizier-sabel), officers issue. First pattern with lion's head pommel. Gilted brass fittings, black plastic handle with ten grooves underlined by a gold gilted brass cord. Reich eagle on hilt's base. Upside down "P" shaped hilt. Oustanding condition blade, slightly curved shape, nickel^plated steel with center groove. Blade's length is 77,5 cm (depending on officer's height), total length is 96 cms. Made by "F.W. HÖLLER" SOLINGEN. Black painted metal scabbard with hanging ring and fastener. Authorized 1933 for officers having already purchased one. Very nice presentation edged weapon.
